Welcome to the Club!
Our goal is to keep you on the mat and training.
Look, we all know how hard it is to keep showing up to train. Life gets crazy, you get beat up, motivation tanks – and suddenly you’re making excuses instead of making it to class.
That’s exactly why we put this all together. We’re talking to competitors, coaches, and everyday grapplers from all over who’ve figured out how to keep coming back, even when everything’s working against them.
You’ll get real stories, practical tips, and those “holy crap, I needed to hear that” moments that remind you why you fell in love with this stuff in the first place.
The name says it all – “Mat Return” isn’t just about putting your opponent back down on the mat (though we love that too). It’s about you returning to the mat, again and again, even when it’s the last thing you want to do.
Because here’s the thing: showing up is the hardest part. Once you’re there, you remember why you started.

About Mat Return:

Look, we’ll be straight with you – this isn’t an official White Mountain Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA website (which can be found here)
Here’s the deal: our head instructor is crazy busy running the dojo, teaching classes, and keeping everything rolling. So when we needed a better way to stay connected and support what’s happening at the gym, a bunch of us students and instructors decided to step up and make it happen ourselves.
This is our community-built solution. We’re the ones who train there, sweat there, and love what this place represents. We wanted somewhere to check class schedules without bugging the coach, share training tips, sign up for early morning sessions, and keep each other motivated when life tries to pull us away from the mats.
The Mat Return is run by us, for us – the people who show up, roll, and want to see our training community thrive. We’re not speaking for the official club, just supporting it the best way we know how.
Think of it as the unofficial training journal and hangout spot that grew out of our shared love for this art and this gym. We built it because we care, and we hope it helps you stay connected to your training and your teammates.
