About Lesson

Extended Summary:
Rolling (sparring) is where we test what we’ve learned. For everyone, but for white belts, and kids especially, safety and control come first. Always tap early, never resist submissions with brute force, and communicate clearly with your partner. Avoid cranking submissions — especially on joints — and respect higher belts. Respect everyone. Be mindful of space, and stop when needed. Clean up after yourself. Rolling is not a fight — it’s learning under pressure. Try new things. Accept that you’ll lose often. Focus on defense and positional awareness first; submissions will come with time.
